She woke up by punching someone in the face. Nightmares were common for her, even more than for most demigods. For her, though, they were more memories than nightmares. She'd always wake up to her own screams, begging her mother to stop hitting her. A few minutes later, Luke would walk in, take one look at her, then sit down and hug her wordlessly. "Thanks, though. I barely pay attention to the calendar anymore."
"You should pay attention to time! Having an almost endless supply of it doesn't mean you can waste it!" He chuckled "We should meet more often, Xono."
"Almost endless? You do remember who you're talking to, right? The girl who gets in life-or-death situations almost daily. I don't have enough time to pay attention to it." She shrugged, sheathing her sword then crossing her arms. "I'm not gonna waste what little time I may have staring at the calendar."
